Fan of Email? Get Peek!!!

Top of the morning lads!! On this beautiful Saturday, we got some very exciting news for you!! We were scouring around the internet to find something new and interesting. The device we stumbled upon is called the Peek.

The Peek is a simple device for sending and receiving emails on the go. The producers emphasize it's simplicity and sleek design. The funny thing is, even with the poor health of the economy at this point, people are always willing to shell out a few bucks for some good gadgets. Well the peek is perfect! It's priced at only $49.74 and you only pay a measly $20/month to get your unlimited email use. There is no contractual tie. So if you choose to use it for this month, then scrap it the next month, no problems!

The three colors we have seen are light blue, pink and black. They have also released some new software updates to clear some bugs out. Overall the plus for this device is it's simple, ergonomically beautiful, and cost effective. All your emails should sync with it perfectly, we heard Gmail and Hotmail are fine but there maybe some issues as far as some other emails are concerned. To get more information about the Peek, check out their website.

Blackberry Curve 8900 Coming Soon!

Good night readers! We have some exciting news for you this saturday! We are sure you have heard or seen the new Blackberry Curve 8900 that T-mobile is rumored to be launching!! Well for all you T-mobile lovers like us, word is that it has a tentative release date of February 18th 2009 (not sure if this is accurate though) which is a few short weeks away!!

Let's stop the blabbing and get to the juicy stuff. The Blackberry Curve 8900, is a follow up to the popular blackberry pearl that T-mobile boasted last year. The 8900 is extremely sleek, and looks very much like the blackberry bold. However, we also noticed a lot of ergonomic similarities to the Blackberry Storm released on the verizon network a few months ago! If you look closely at the image, and envision taking away the keyboard and replacing it with just a screen, viola! You got the Storm.

The BB Curve 8900 is an obvious upgrade from its older model, it comes equipped with Wifi as well as a 3.2 mega pixel camera among more features that you would have to physically see to appreciate. We are certainly happy about this phone and would recommend it for all the tech savvy email lovers out there. 5 thumbs up from us. We will certainly do a follow up review once the Blackberry Curve 8900 is released.

That's it for now. Another WebNR exclusive! WebNR over and out!

NSA Secures Pda??

Hello lads, Happy New Year to all!! This is the first time I we are reviewing for 2009 so it had to be a spicy one!! We got wind that the NSA has secured cellphones specifically for use with transmission of top secret information. Take a look at the image to see what we mean. Word has it that Obama, is the first to use email as frequently on his blackberry. So NSA has hack proofed his blackberry to the point where he can send top secret information without worry. Or so they say!! We can bet how many hackers will be happy to practice breaking and entering with this. In our opinion, NOT a good Idea!!!! But, this review gets 5 thumbs from us for the audacity of the NSA to attempt such a thing. This featured PDA (worth about $3800 US) is said to be cousin to the Palm Treo 750 as you can obviously tell by the physical appearance. In our opinion, this is not the best idea for a president to exchange secret files via a Blackberry. But hey he is the President!

Good evening lads!! Today is a cold day but we come to you with some really hot news. For all those website optimizers and rank trackers you now have a new tool that will save you time and trouble. The new tool is called "ExactFactor". ExactFactor is a website position ranking tool that offers accurate search engine ranking as well as some cool new features such as receiving an alert when your site position changes. We had the honor of being one of the first to test these features out and we definitely think ExactFactor is on to something here. The look is aesthetically appealing to say the least, it includes splendid use of Web 2.0 elements which brings the site to life. We used ExactFactor to check a few page ranks and even cross checked with a few popular page position rankers and found no flaws. During the early web days many website owners would have to constantly check page position manually, however with the new Alert feature in ExactFactor, the work is done for you saving loads of time. This is such a useful tool for all you avid website viewers and webmasters alike. Go to ExactFactor to check these features out. We give this site 5 thumbs high!!! Blackberry Storm? or just a Breeze?

Well lads its been a good little thanksgiving. We are back to bring you some sad sad news today. Those of you who live in the US and have not heard of the Blackberry Storm, you must have been living under a hole. It was advertised as the best thing since the iphone. How does it stand up to these high expectations? Well it does not, it falls flat on its face. This phone is the most ridiculously stupid phone Blackberry has ever released. Well let's stop ranting and get to the juicy stuff. First, this phone that is supposed to be worth over $400 without a contract, does not even have Wifi. Are you kidding? How can you not have Wifi on such a high end phone? Next flaw, the phone's battery life is naught. It charges up so hot that you can bake a cake on the back of it. Next thing, the software is so slow and glitchy that it ends up crashing multiple times. Finally, the phone is so ridiculously hard to navigate that only people who built the phone will ever get it. Typing on the phone is so ridiculous, you must click the screen, not tap but CLICK!!! Huh?!! This means no fast typing like on an iphone or on a normal qwerty keypad. Well this phone gets 5 thumbs way DOWN!!! It has its strong points like its shape and feel in the hand thats it! You decide if you want to get this one or not. This has been another WebNR exclusive! Google search added some new features!

Good evening readers. We have some exciting news from Google today! Google has finally caught up to the times and added some 21st century features to their search. Ever since Google came on the scene they have had this simple white background and search bar. Today they released a few added features that will make search more interactive. They have added the ability for users to comment on a link in search, they also added the ability of users to delete links they find useless as well as promote links they find useful. We were able to try out these features and they are extremely beneficial in our view because this will mean a more streamlined search for all. Links that are promoted by more users will go higher in searches since they would be more reliable. We urge you to go test these functions out if you have not yet done so. We think overall that Google is making a step in the right direction and we give this review 5 thumbs high!!! This has been another WebNR exclusive! WebNR over and out!!
